SHIBORI BAND

Long band of cotton, lavallière type, tied like a scarf or a shibori on the body. It can be used as a belt. Different types of knotting are invented and reinvented from the back and from the front, with one or more bands, on the bust or on a garment. Composed of cotton dyed vegetally with indigo, it is a natural color obtained thanks to ancestral know-how that consists in macerating the fabric with indigo leaves in many baths of dyes.
